A whole pile of problems landed on my head, but yesterday I decided to take a little break from them by building a model.

I had to make a few small (temporary) changes in the kitchen, so I also had to change the camera positions. But I think it actually turned out fairly well this way.

So — down to business — I finished Step 5:

And I started Step 6:

I expected the difficult part of Step 5 to be assembling and fitting parts G and H — at least that was the impression I had been left with after Hobby Boss’s Tochka kit — but here everything went together smoothly enough.

So — after about 50 minutes of work, the progress is:
