Today (actually yesterday) I am continuing the build of Trumpeter 01025 \u2014 9P113 TEL w\/9M21 Rocket of 9K52 Luna-M Short-range artillery<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

From here on, unless stated otherwise or completely obvious, all abbreviations are written in Cyrillic in the original text.<\/p>\n

One of my most hated steps when building Soviet wheeled vehicles. Still, it is not the one I hate most \u2014 Step 4 will beat even this one, I promise!<\/p>\n

Anyway \u2014 this is Step 3:<\/p>\n

During the long weekend I had a little time to work on this model as well. Unfortunately, I had quite an internal struggle \u2014 I wanted to build it, but I also knew what was waiting for me, so I kept finding excuses to postpone it.<\/p>\n

Finally Nadya took the kids out for a walk, with the arrangement that while they were out I would set up the lights, cameras, and microphones and get on with the build, so they would not get in my way and I would not get in theirs.<\/p>\n

Yes, but just as I finished setting up the lighting, it turned out that Nadya was feeling unwell and they were coming home. We agreed that I would wait for them, let them have lunch, drink some water, and generally use the kitchen as a kitchen<\/em>, and only then would I start.<\/p>\n

And that is what we did. Well \u2014 I did some building and almost met my minimum target. I did not even finish the whole logically separate first half of the step (the upper half of the instruction page) \u2014 one of the two mirrored assemblies! I still had D36+B77<\/strong> and B75+B76<\/strong> left to assemble, but perhaps it worked out better this way. I will be more careful in the second part!<\/p>\n

Overall, this step was hard going. I am not happy with myself. After about 1 hour and 5 minutes I got this far:<\/p>\n
