Well, now that most of the family are recovering, I’m continuing the NASAMS build today. I’m wondering whether I’ll go to work tomorrow, since it seems to be my turn to be ill, but… We’ll see in the morning!

From this point on, unless otherwise stated or completely obvious, all abbreviations are written using the Latin alphabet.

Yesterday I started step 3, but stopped at the photo-etched parts PE-6, 4× PE-3 and PE-4. Today I assembled them:

I expected them to be much harder to fit, but… Honestly, they were easy. I assembled them and continued with step 4:

Step 4: nothing complicated at all. Just assembling six identical units. I didn’t go any further because I think it would be extremely difficult to paint them properly if I assembled everything now. So I stopped here…

So, after around an hour of work, including the photo-etched parts from step 3, this is where I got to:

I probably won’t be building tomorrow. I have three cameras, three tripods and… Well, all that stuff to move 😉
